About Us

The MTC Group was founded in 1986 by the Krivda family, initially with an office in Vienna.

In the first few years, our focus was on the trade with packaging materials. From 1992 onwards, the area of food additives developed into a second mainstay. This happened parallel to the foundation of the office in Slovenia which took over these activities. Further offices were established in Serbia and Romania in the nineties and later one was bought in Croatia. Since 2012, we have also been involved in the trade of pharmaceutical raw materials.

The first step towards production was taken in 1995 and was subsequently further advanced by the construction of a highly specialised manufacturing plant for pharmaceutical films in Pruszków/Poland. In 2008, 2012 and 2017, further investments were made to massively expand the Pruszków plant and broaden the product portfolio (pharma and cosmetics films as well as lids and films for the food industry). We see ourselves as a highly specialised "niche supplier" that acts extremely flexible, quick and customer-oriented.
